Jessica Piso is an accomplished flutist living in Vonore, Tennessee who enjoys sharing her passion for music through teaching and performance. Currently, she serves as Instructor of Flute at Lee University and Maryville College. She also leads a private studio which includes middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adult enthusiasts. Her teaching style combines enthusiasm, patience, and a student-centered approach.
Alongside her teaching, Jessica performs with orchestras as a sub, gives solo recitals, collaborates with fellow professional musicians in chamber concerts, and lectures and performs at regional and national conferences. Her commitment to excellence and artistry inspires her students and audiences alike.

Jessica has refined her teaching skills for years with an attitude of a lifelong learner. She continues to pursue teacher education to add to her arsenal of tools, tricks, and ideas so that every student benefits from the most current and research-based approaches to learning music.

For example, some students want to enjoy flute as a hobby, some want to pursue it as a degree, while others prioritize audition prep. Jessica can provide support in whatever direction you want to go.
